Audio Catalog Application Release
May. 11: Our third community based application is the Audio Catalog Application. It's title sounds generic due to it's flexibility, however at it's core is a music/audio track sharing application which will bring together your members with music they can upload directly from their computers.
We've made this our third application in order to narrow the gap between media that your members would like to share with eachother. Your community previously had the ability to share images and videos together, and with this third one comes a piece of media that is core to the experience people have on the internet.
Audio Catalog Item's can be added by being uploaded (up to 5 audio tracks at once) and can then be embedded, rated, commented, and shared with others in your community quickly and easily. We plan soon to follow up this functionality with an API with iMeem, for quick access to music sharing among your community, which will bring in a large catalog of music which can be shared instantly.
