Image Cropping
Mar. 09: A small update this week comes in the form of Image Cropping. While it may be small, it is also a highly request and powerful update.
Your community now has the ability to crop any images that they've uploaded, or else have saved from a Google Image API or Yahoo! Image API search. The cropping feature has been integrated in a very familiar User Interface. Your community members simply login to their account, and while searching for an image will be a button entitled 'Crop' underneath each of the images they open.
Cropping an image will not replace or remove/delete the existing image. It will simply create a copy of the image with it's cropped proportions, and place it at the beginning of a user's list of images. This feature will be ideal for user's who upload large amounts of images without pre-formatting them.
Soon to follow will be an image rotator feature which will give members the option to rotate an image which may not be visually correct (eg. a picture taken sideways on a camera).
