Security was not an after-thought.

Over the 12 months that the Clearmix PlatformTM was being developed, security was integrated into every detail. It was not applied afterwards as a layer. This is important to understand, because most hacking and security threats occur due to neglecting a specific procedure during the early stage.

We have hundreds of security features and precautions in place throughout our platform, and every line of code that is written goes through 3 levels of auditing to ensure security compliance with the system as a whole.

Security is one of our philosophical tenets because it's what we would want for own system. Even if your users are doing nothing more than sharing pictures or videos, and commenting on them, they are doing so under an assumed level of trust between themselves, and your brand or organization. We would want to trust that any company we were working with would protect our data, and therefore we've transitioned that requirement onto ourselves.

Virtual Security.

Our database is connected through a local socket rather than an external IP; this prevents any form of proxy attacks to capture passwords or sensitive data.

Sensitive data, like passwords and security keys, are encrypted using a government level encryption schema.

Form submissions are escaped every time against a white list of acceptable input. This prevents any possibility of SQL injection attacks, or session hijacking.

Physical Security.

Physical Security is often over looked. It is however just as important where your content is physically located, and how security is placed around there. All data is housed through our partner, LiquidWeb. All data is housed on dedicated servers, with each and every client's database partitioned separately. Additionally, each server requires bio-metric credentials for physical access, and is protected by 24/7/365 video surveillance, fire suppression systems, motion sensors, and is under a consistent backup setup.

Only the Beginning.

The security measures outlined above are only the tip of the iceberg. A system is only as secure as it’s weakest point, and we'd love to hear from you if you have any questions or concerns about the safe guards we have in place.
