Technology Overview.

Clearmix is at its core, a technology company. The Clearmix PlatformTM is built and based on dozens of different parts. These range from the operating system that our servers run, down to the animations that go on when a user comments on a video.

As part of our belief in transparency, we'd like to introduce to you some of our most important technological decisions, highlighting why we chose it, and how it affects you.

The Client.

We classify technologies as falling into the 'Client' category when its usage is directly visible. If you can see it, or interact with it, then that technology falls into the 'Client' classification. Learn about our Client Side technology to understand how our platform will be used by your community.

The Server.

The 'Server' is responsible for your data. When you upload a video, and comment on it, literally thousands of things are going on, and managing those thousands of different things requires many technologies to be working properly together. Reading about our Server Side technology will give you a better understanding of how our system is set up, and why it's so powerful.

The Cloud.

The beauty of the internet is truly the ability to tap into large resources, and use those resources in different ways. The 'Cloud' allows us to tap into massive computing networks, and use these networks for our own purposes, which otherwise would cost millions of dollars, and thousands of hours. Our Cloud technology overview may interest you most, as it will give you a thoughtful description of how our system is able to scale so dramatically, and so quickly.

We want your ideas.

The technologies we use highlighted in the 3 sections to the left, are only the most note worthy. Our platform is an inter-operating machine running on hundreds of different hardware and software, open source and proprietary, thought out decisions.

But what we want now is to hear from you about something else to integrate with. A new software set, open source package, API, or social network. Please drop us a line and let us know any thoughts you may have.
